Professional Experience

I received my MSW from University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work in 2018 to formalize my years of experience supporting growth and healing in a variety of client populations. My studies focused on the unique issues facing children and youth and effective interventions designed to increase resilience and improve the overall health of young people.

While at the University of Denver, I received a certificate in Animal Assisted Interventions from the Institute for Human-Animal Connection. After graduation, I received an advanced practice certificate in Trauma Interventions from DU .

I earned an LSW credential in 2018 and full LCSW licensure in 22022 . I enjoy membership in the National Association for Social Work and the Colorado Society for Clinical Social Work.

My formal clinical experience includes work with pregnant and parenting teens, people who have experienced sexual trauma, women participating in a prison re-entry program, and families with abused and neglected children in their care.

I have been a helper for all of my professional life. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was the founding director of an arts nonprofit that focused on creative expression among marginalized youth. I taught playwriting and process painting to incarcerated youth and full impact self-defense to adult women. Helping is simply who I am.
